Thank you, Annie! :)

The Jeremiah 10:5 - 7 verse is one that was in the Bible curriculum when I was a second grade teacher. We always hit that verse in October, and we had fun making scarecrows with scrapbook paper remnants & raffia. Hmmm...maybe I should post that as an activity! :)

The verse is such a good reminder, for both adults and children, to make sure we're not putting anyone or anything ahead of Christ!

Thank you so much! My daughter will love this! She is so excited for Halloween, she has been going to the calendar and lifting up September's page and saying "Halloween is coming! It's almost here!" Now that it is October, she doesn't have to lift the page anymore. She just points to it and says the same thing!! She will have a blast with this! Thanks again! :)

Oooh!! Mine won't be ready for this until next year, (although I might give him a few of the sheets this year to see what happens) but I am excited to use it! i think we'll have to add a field trip to the pumpkin patch. :) Thank you!

Sister F,
My second son started tagging along with big brother when he was 2.5 and big brother was 4. I was pretty impressed at how many activities he could handle at that age. Don't force, of course, but he may LOVE some of the activities!

A few examples:
~ Print two sets of the memory game.
Cut one into pieces, and leave the other whole.
Match the pieces to the correct spot on the whole page.

~ magnet pages (cover with M&Ms, mini pompom/puffballs, mini marshmallows, or use a do-a-dot marker)

~ my son was actually pretty good at the prewriting pages even at that age...but every child will be different on that one!

~ shadow matching

~ possibly even shape matching

Limit it to 10 - 15 minutes at most, or offer one activity per day, and see how it goes! :)
