Preview: Easter Preschool Packs

3/26/2012: Both packs listed below are now available!

Just thought I’d give you a quick heads-up on the things that are in the works for Easter.

Easter Blessings (Christian Easter pack)
This is a free pack.

A sweet lady e-mailed me about the possibility of designing a secular Easter pack with bunnies, chicks, and eggs.  My first thought was, “No Way!”  I’d really like to keep my holiday packs focused on the true meaning of a holiday.   For Easter, that’s obviously the death and (more importantly) the RESURRECTION of Jesus.

After thinking and praying on that over the weekend, I came to a different decision.  We give our kids Easter baskets.  They’ve met the Easter bunny.  We color eggs each year.  Why not design a bunnies and chicks pack that focuses on new life?  So that’s the plan…

This pack is available for  $1.25 at Teacher's Notebook.

Not trying to be rude, cause we're all very thankful that you offer your free preschool packs, but can I ask why you'd offer your religious version for free but charge for a "secular" version of the same preschool theme?

Actually, it's a pretty simple answer...

Every religious pack I make will be freely shared. It's one little way of sharing my faith. :)

Beyond that, the "secular" one was completely unplanned, and I had no intentions of spending money on more graphics at this time. The graphics weren't cheap...so selling it will make up for that.

You'll see that I am planning to give away 10 copies of the secular pack, as well, so maybe you can win a copy! :)

Great and understandable answer! Like I said, I was just curious and not trying to be rude at all :)
