Pokey-Pines & Hoopy-Loop

So often, my kids say something cute and I think, “I ought to write that down!”  When I do take a moment to write it on a slip of paper, I end up losing that little slip of paper.  SO…while I’m thinking about it, I’m going to get these two recorded here.

Alex and Daddy were playing Alex’s Veggie Tales Find It tube today, and Alex said, “OH!  It’s the Pokey-pine!”   (porcupine)

When he’s playing his Wii Nickelodeon Fit game, he refers to hula hoops as hoopy-loops.  He says, “Hey Max!  Do you want to come play hoopy loops with me?”

Alex is growing up so much, and he has an amazing vocabulary.  I just love the moments when he uses those little boy words that made me smile!
