a silly breakfast filled with giggles, funny forks on faces, and LOTS of singing together
let’s not forget trying to share the scrambled eggs with Mama…

This was Jensyn’s first time painting. She loves to color and draw with markers, crayons, and pens, so I figured she would thoroughly enjoy painting.
Wrong.
She tried, but she completely freaked out at the paint. “Messy, Mama! I messy! I dirty!”
Her faces were cracking me up!
The other kids had lots of fun!
Jensyn tried, but (at least for now) painting is NOT her “thing”.
This is the dolomite from our rock exploration kit. The vinegar evaporated after pulling out all the lime from the dolomite. The lime hardened into pretty blue crystals on top of the rock.
Here’s our finished rock candy, made during Rr – rock week.
It’s just sugar, water, and color, but it tasted pretty good!

We found a worm on the back patio during the recent rains.
The kids had fun with their temporary pet.
Alex had already explored worms at the homeschool co-op we visited a few weeks back, so he had fun reminiscing about the worm facts he’d learned and worm games he’d played.
Max was totally fascinated, and even Jensyn touched and held the worm.
We released him to the backyard after about 30 minutes.
