(Many of these are off of my phone, which has a lousy camera, so the photo quality stinks!)
There’s something very special about ‘catching’ your boys reading!
playing with Max’s amazing new marble run (Q-ba Maze Mega Stunt Set)
donut hole snowmen that we made & brought to a friend’s house
mini Hershey bars wrapped with grocery bags & decorated to look like snowmen…the kids made these with a friend & gave them out to the kids in their Sunday School class
Alex’s Christmas program at church

Santa came to our library! All 3 kids talked about him all morning, but then Jensyn was too shy to talk to him once we got there.
They had a table of props at the library, so we had a little fun!
This is what I get for taking a shower while the couch cushion cover was in the wash…one of the kids sat on the couch, mindlessly picking a hole into the cushion while watching Netflix. Sigh. I got out of the shower to find stuffing all over the living room. We restuffed it, duct-taped it back together, and put the cushion cover back on.
baking cookies…and eating brown sugar crumbs
Alex eating Gelsosomo’s Pizza on his 7th birthday. We realized while eating that, 7 years ago to the day, we’d all had Gelsosomo’s Pizza on the day Alex was born. The family went over to the restaurant for dinner, and they brought back pizza for Keith & me since that’s what I was craving!
On the weekend before Alex’s birthday, we went to HuHot (one of our favorite restaurants, but a VERY long drive from home!) for dinner & free birthday s’mores! How often do you get to cook s’mores at the table in a restaurant…for free?! What fun!
