Alex is very interested in little bugs. Pretty much all insects are "fwies" in Alex's mind. Ladybugs usually get, "Mama, Whassis? Whassat?" I tell him it's a ladybug, and then he says, "Fwy!" 
He loves to stop & watch the ladybugs as they climb a window, crawl across the couch, etc. He's just totally fascinated.
Unfortunately, these little "observation sessions" usually end in Alex squashing the poor little ladybug. If only he could just admire without the "smoosh" at the end. He's such a boy.
Ewww! And those are so stinky!!!!! :/
